WHY PRAYER MATTERS

Prayer is not support around the mission. It is part of the mission.

The work of discipleship, theological education and mission across cultures cannot be sustained by human effort alone. We depend upon God's guidance, provision and the work of the Holy Spirit.

For identity in Christ

Pray that believers know they are God's holy people and are formed as disciples who can be sent.

For African churches to rise as sending churches

Pray for churches in Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya and beyond to recognise their missionary calling.

For a new generation of missionaries

Pray that young men and women will be raised and equipped to carry the Gospel towards North Africa and the Middle East.

For theological leaders

Pray for pastors, seminarians and doctoral students to be deeply rooted in Scripture and faithful in ministry.

For the multicultural church in Scotland

Pray that people of different nations become one family in Christ and grow into mature disciples.

For provision and partnerships

Pray for the right churches, teachers, supporters and institutions to be connected at the right time.
